BSc (Statistics) Program:
The objective of the B.Sc. (Statistics) program is to develop the theoretical and analytical skills of the students so that they may be absorbed in the corporate sector or be able to pursue higher studies in statistics. In the dynamic scenario, the need was felt to equip students with the capacity to understand and learn about technological advancements in the rapidly changing environment.
Statistics and statistical methods play a major role in the work environment in areas such as business, science, finance, economics, engineering, and technology. It is very important that people are comfortable with reading and understanding statistics. This program will provide knowledge and understanding of basic statistical methods such as collecting classification and tabulation of data, and applying and inferential statistics. By completing this course, students will be able to understand, implement, and interpret the data.
