Andhra Loyola Assistance for Neighborhood Advancement(ALANA)

Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada established in 1954 by the Society of Jesus, an International organization of Christian clergy dedicated for the cause of Education. And our College has been reaccredited at “A Grade” with a CGPA of 3.65/4.00 points by NAAC, the highest grade ever achieved by an Autonomous College in this part of the State. Our College offers Intermediate (+2), Degree and Post Graduate Courses and also conducts research programmes in collaboration with several reputable Universities. And our College has student strength of over 3500. 

 As part of the Diamond Jubilee initiatives, the College launched Extension activity called – ALANA, the acronym for the “Andhra Loyola Assistance for Neighborhood Advancement”.

The main goal of ALANA is to involve students of the College in tutoring and coaching the School going Children from primary to VIII class students at various centers like Social Welfare Hostels, Municipal Schools and Churches which were identified and conducting ALANA Extension Work programme in Vijayawada Urban and Rural areas very effectively.

 Rev.
